We are seeking a skilled and experienced Trim Room Lead to join our marijuana facility.
As a Trim Room Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the trimming and manicuring processes of marijuana plants.
Your role is crucial in ensuring the quality and consistency of our products, while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, excellent leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of marijuana trimming techniques.
Responsibilities:
Supervise trim room operations:
Lead and supervise a team of trimmers, ensuring efficient workflow, productivity, and adherence to quality standards.
Quality control:
Train and guide trimmers in proper trimming techniques, maintaining consistency in trim quality, and adhering to the facility's quality control standards.
Trim and manicure marijuana plants:
Perform trimming and manicuring duties, including removing leaves, stems, and excess foliage, while preserving the quality and potency of the buds.
Inventory management:
Collaborate with the cultivation and inventory control teams to track and manage trimmed product inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation:
Ensure the trim room and equipment are kept clean, organized, and free from contaminants.
Follow proper sanitation procedures to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
Compliance with regulations:
Stay up-to-date with local and state regulations pertaining to marijuana trimming and processing.
Ensure all activities in the trim room adhere to compliance requirements.
Equipment maintenance:
Oversee the maintenance and calibration of trim room equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
Report any malfunctions or issues promptly.
Performance monitoring:
Monitor and evaluate the performance of trimmers, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve efficiency and quality.
